Svetlana O. Aminova, MD, attended Kazan State Medical University in Russia, and received his medical degree in 1994. After relocating to the United States, she joined Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI, where she conducted her internal medicine residency (2005) as well as her infectious disease medicine fellowship (2007).
